Safeguarding

How We Keep Pupils Safe At Lime Tree Music Centre In Matlock.

Every one of our tutors is DBS-checked. Lessons are one-to-one with your tutor, and we run some group lessons too. If you're bringing your child to a free lesson, you're welcome to stay in the room with them.

If you've told us your child mustn't leave on their own, their tutor keeps them until they're collected, by the person you've said collects them.

Pete Jenkins is our safeguarding lead. If you're ever worried about a child, ring us on 01629 312 985, Monday to Friday, 2pm to 8pm, or email music@limetreemusiccentre.co.uk, and ask for Pete.

If we're worried about a child's safety, we may share what we know with children's services or the police. If a child is in immediate danger, ring 999.
