Lime Tree Music Centre – Terms and Conditions
By booking a rehearsal or recording session at Lime Tree Music Centre, you are entering into a contract in which you agree unconditionally, on behalf of yourself and your band/guests, to abide by the studio’s terms and conditions as outlined below.
1. Booking a Rehearsal or Recording Session
All bookings are subject to availability and are approved instantly through our online booking system.
Lime Tree Music Centre reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or reschedule any booking. If a booking is cancelled by Lime Tree Music Centre, the artist/band will not be charged.
Bookings are valid only once confirmed and must be made online via our booking system.
You can book a session at any time, 24/7, but access to the studio is only permitted during your booked time slot. You must arrive and leave within your allocated period.
2. Payment
All payments must be made in full and in advance.
Payment can only be made online via credit/debit card (all major cards accepted) through our secure payment system.
Sessions cannot be shortened once booked. However, if you wish to extend your session, you may book an additional session immediately after your current one, subject to availability.
3. Cancellations
We do not offer refunds.
If you cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice by emailing music@limetreemusiccentre.co.uk, we will hold your payment and transfer it to another booking date of your choice.
4. Access and Load-In/Load-Out
Your access code grants entry at the time of your booking and for up to 15 minutes afterwards. This grace period is to allow you to return in case you forget something. Please ensure the room is vacated by the end of your designated slot, as access will no longer be available after this time.
You must arrive within 15 minutes of your booking start time to avoid crossover with other bookings.
You must vacate the room by the end of your booked session. Ensure you allow enough time to pack up and load out.
The studio has two doors, both secured with code locks. The inner door must be kept shut at all times and must not be propped open to ensure it is not accidentally left open at the end of a session. The outer door must be properly closed and locked when leaving. Failure to comply may result in a fine and potential exclusion from future bookings.
5. Age Restrictions
No under-18s are permitted after 10pm.
No under-16s are allowed unless accompanied by an adult at all times.
6. Room Capacity and Usage
The rehearsal room has a maximum capacity of 10 people. No exceptions will be made.
The room may only be used for music, drama, or creative rehearsals. Parties, public events, or any non-rehearsal activities are strictly prohibited.
7. Access to Facilities
You are only permitted to use the main rehearsal room, kitchen, and bathroom. Entry to the drum room, studio room, or any of the teaching rooms is strictly prohibited.
Under no circumstances should you take any equipment from these other rooms for use in your practice.
8. Equipment
The rehearsal room includes a PA system, 3 microphones, 5 XLR cables, 3 kettle leads, 2 Fender guitar amplifiers, 1 Marshall guitar amplifier, 1 bass guitar amplifier, and drum shells (snare & cymbals not included), XLR cables, and kettle leads.
Any additional equipment required must be arranged in advance.
Any damage caused to studio equipment due to misuse will be charged to the band/individual responsible. Refusal to pay for damages may result in exclusion and legal action.
If an item is missing or damaged at the start of your session, report it to staff immediately.
9. Personal Belongings & Lost Property
Lime Tree Music Centre is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
Ensure all personal belongings are taken with you when leaving.
10. Smoking, Alcohol & Drugs
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited anywhere inside the premises.
The studio operates a zero-tolerance policy on drugs. Any individual found in possession of any class of drug will be asked to leave and may be reported to the police.
Alcohol is permitted but must not be placed on or near equipment. Any damage caused by spills will be charged accordingly.
11. Food & Drink
You may bring your own food and drink into the rehearsal room but must keep all items away from equipment.
Any spillages must be cleaned up immediately. Damage caused by food or drink negligence will be charged.
Please dispose of all rubbish in the bins provided.
12. Housekeeping & Safety
Broken drumsticks must be disposed of in the bins provided, as they are a hazard to other users and equipment.
Keep the studio door closed and respect other musicians using the space.
Report any issues, damages, or faults as soon as possible via email.
