Win A Free Recording Session With Our Autumn Songwriting Competition!

Want to be in with the chance to win a free recording session at our studio in Matlock? Enter our Autumn songwriting competition!

We had a great time listening to the entries to our Summer Songwriting Competition. There was many a display of creativity involved however, there could only be one winner. It was a close one, but Richard “Miserable Hands” Watson came out on top, with his song Bones & Dust, which can be listened to here. A big round of applause to Miserable and the rest of the contestants for their wonderful submissions!

Now, following the success of our Summer Songwriting Competition, we have decided to hold another one for Autumn!

Rules & Requirements

The entry parameters are similar to the Summer Songwriting Competition however, the theme is now of Change. Just as a bit of a recap, here are the entry requirements:

  • The song has to be an original composition written by you, your band, or an ensemble that you perform with
  • The song must be at least two minutes long
  • The song must relate to the theme of change
  • Sounds Easy Enough, Tell Me More About The Prize!

To shake things up a bit, we have two prizes up for grabs this time around. The first place prize is a free recording session, at our music studio in Matlock.

Second place prize is a Lime Tree Music Centre t-shirt, available in black, or white, more info on the tees can be found here.

How Can I Submit My Song?

The recording of your song submission doesn’t have to be great quality, just as long as the audio comes through clearly. It could even be something as simple as a phone recording. We can accept entries by a private link, or as an email attachment. When submitting your song, please include your name, the subject “LTMC Autumn Songwriting Competition” and the best way to contact you. We can only accept one submission per person, band, group, ensemble.

Entries must be submitted by 11:59pm on the 30th September 2020 and after the entries have been judged a winner will be revealed a week later, on the 7th October 2020.

If you would like anymore information on our Autumn Songwriting Competition, head on over to our Contact Page, fill in the form and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

    Good luck all!
